With over 10 years of experience in leading, facilitating and developing dialogue around racial equity, diversity, and inclusion in both religious and non-religious spaces I believe that I am uniquely qualified to guide a variety of organizations in this work. I have taught in formal and informal settings as both faculty and consultant. As an adjunct professor at the Iliff School of Theology I teach a diverse population of students how to better engage and lead their communities with regard to issues of racial equity, diversity, and inclusion. This work reflects my passion of bringing people together to have dialogue that matters across vast differences. Equally important to me is my academic work which has focused on theologies of inclusion and the effects of religious and social politics on the lives of queer folk and people of color.
As an experienced racial equity, diversity, and inclusion (REDI) professional with experience in developing and leading trainings, strategies, and initiatives around diversity and inclusion in diverse environments, I am particularly equipped to lead organizations through the process of cultural change regarding REDI. I believe that as an aspiring change agent, along with my abilities in strategic planning, creating and implementing trainings, and my relationship-building skills, I am an ideal candidate to join organizations in their journey to shift their organization’s culture and infuse their strategic plan with a focus on racial equity, diversity, and inclusion. My experience with REDI has largely focused on race, but I am also skilled in other areas such as gender and sexuality, religious diversity, class, and disability, as well as the intersections between them.
